tTech expands, seeks wider customer base
MANAGED IT services provider, tTech Limited, increased its staff by a third and moved to a bigger office, as part of its push to expand its customer base beyond the GraceKennedy Group.
Edward ‘Teddy’ Alexander, CEO of the firm, said that the eight-year old company started out exclusively managing the IT services of the food and financial conglomerate all over the world.
tTech expects that the addition of five employees to the staff complement of 15 should, as well as its new office space on Harbour Street, enhance their capacity to meet the needs of their expanding customer base, while creating greater scope for growth for
the firm.
“tTech has saved some of its local customers up to 20 per cent off the operational costs of their IT services,” said tTech director of sales and marketing, Chris Reckord. “When some companies try to run the technological side of their businesses all by themselves, they are faced with the full cost of labour, which they may not need full-time, hardware and security.”
Reckord, who sold his stake in Innovative Corporate Solutions Limited in late 2012, bought into tTech last year.
He said that a new consultancy firm, tTech Consultancy, will be formed in the next few months.
tTech prides itself in “taking away the pain from getting people to work with technology, while saving them time and money,” according to Alexander.
We help businesses to reset their focus on managing the business rather than focusing time and money on the sometimes cumbersome IT solutions,” he said. “We try as far as possible to master the art of working remotely, [and] we no longer have to physically touch your hardware to diagnose and resolve the problem.
